![]() My friend recommended this hotel they used to spend 400-500$ a night there and saw for $260 deal. Thank you all for an excellent Spring Equinox and a birthday I won't forget! More Show less From Steve at the pool who saw I was disappointed that there weren't snacks available there and gave me the banana he had brought to work, to Dylan the fun, calm and attentive bartender who laughed with us and didn't care in the least every time my dogs barked at him when he unzipped the door to the igloo, to Shaneal the fiercely focused mixologist in the dining room who was full of energy and warmth, and loved my pups. Really, though, the best thing about the place is the people who work there, and go above and beyond to find opportunities to delight. We hiked and swam in the indoor pool during the day, and enjoyed the restaurant and bar at night, and two of us celebrated our birthdays in the COVID-inspired igloo on the deck - a uniquely wonderful (and cozy) private dining experience. I have been back twice now with my two dogs Piper & Luna, this last time with three friends also. If you are looking to stay in a storied, historic hotel with beautiful public spaces and spacious guestrooms, with the backdrop of the Green Mountains in all directions, that is walking distance to the trailheads of Equinox Mountain, and most of all offers genuine warm and welcoming service that makes you feel at home - really at home, because they also love and welcome dogs - then this is the place for you. ![]()
